🇬🇧👑🇬🇧 Yes, we've seen this blazer before. Valentines Day of this year Kate wore it in red (rather fitting given the day). It's by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini. I'll post more when I'm able. Sorry for the delay. #lifecalls 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 #royal #BritishRoyalty #monarchy #duchessofcambridge #princewilliam #healthpermitting #britain #england #serafina

Have you ever read a Brontë novel...such as Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre or The Tenant of Wildfell Hall? Then you'll love wonderful Haworth Village, known worldwide for its association with the Brontë family. . A windswept land of heather and wild moors, it is hardly surprising that this region became the inspirisation for the classic works of the Brontë sisters. Love this shot via @welcometoyorkshire... especially the Black Bull pub ahead. Branwell Brontë was a keen regular.... although, oddly, this place does remind me of the American Werewolf in London pub. I did walk in here once and it went very quiet...gulp. . The Pennine village where the Brontë sisters grew up in the 1800s was then a crowded industrial town, polluted, smelly and wretchedly unhygienic. Although perched on the edge of open country, high up on the edge of Haworth Moor, the death rate was as high as anything in London or Bradford, with 41 per cent of children failing even to reach their sixth birthday. The average age of death was just 24. Thankfully, things have vastly changed since then... but the place still carries an incredible atmosphere. . No visit is complete without seeing The Brontë Parsonage Museum, which was home to authors Charlotte, Emily, and Anne. They wrote their beloved novels here, and both Charlotte and Emily died in the Parsonage. The house has been transformed into a museum tracing the lives of this remarkable literary family... it's a truly moving experience to see their original letters and tiny hand writing in the miniature books they created as children. Well, I'm off to the pub for further investigation... care to join me? 🇬🇧 Want your Photos of Britain to be featured? Follow us and tag us in the picture too! 🔍 .... 🔍 .... lovers of Harry Potter, look, here He is, the bridge on which Harry stood with Professor Lupin and talked about his parents ... 👓🎓 Historically, it is called "Bridge of Sighs", it crosses the River Kem, connecting the Third and New Courtyard of St. John's College. The name of the bridge was in honor of his "brother", located in Venice. True, the "sighs" here are completely different, not at all from "love torment." According to legend, the bridge was named because of the sighing students going to the exam. Was build by the architect Henry Hutchinson in 1831. The sophisticated architecture and interesting legend turned it into one of Cambridge's most romantic sights, which was repeatedly confirmed by Queen Victoria, calling him a favorite place in the city. Walking along the bridge evokes pleasant memories of the students and creates a romantic mood.
