Especially at #21weekspregnant , I can flow and challenge myself in a way that feels best in the moment. I love the freedom, artistic and physical expression, the creation of seamless transitions, the limitless possibilities. I have been practicing the advanced classical reformer series every Friday morning for nearly 12 years, and plan on continuing until I'm 💯🙏🏼. I'm so grateful and humbled by its discipline, depth and the strong roots it's given me. But the contemporary work is where I feel free to fly 🌠 ✈️ are you a fan of classical, contemporary, both? Good morning☀️I think I could do this series everyday for the rest of my life. <Frog, lower/lift, circles, stags/peter pan> This is for sure one of my go-to movement sequences that I weave into the majority of my lessons, and it will definitely be part of today's #contemporaryreformer and #barre workshop at 11am. ❤️/hate relationship with these #sidekicks on the #reformer TIPS: 1 light to medium spring; 5-8 reps of each variation; suggested order- 1️⃣pendulums 2️⃣small lower/lifts in internal rotation 3️⃣small circles in external rotation 4️⃣ big kicks 5️⃣big circles 6️⃣bend/straighten; keep neck and spine long; lift off bottom waist and lengthen top side waist; actively stabilize bottom leg and glute; feel the burn 🔥 (video is sped 🔼. Must do these slowly to control) #contemporarypilates #contemporaryreformer #glutesworkout #gluteusmedius #pilateseveryday #19weekspregnant

#contemporaryreformer series: I would suggest 10 reps of each variation, 2 springs (as heavy as you can handle to tap into your glutes), ground your front foot evenly especially through the heel, stabilize your spine and pelvis, work on a strong smooth transition to the side (video sped 🔼) #glutesworkout #hamstrings #psoas #strength #strengthandflexibility #flexibilty #pilates #contemporarypilates #19weekspregnant
